Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Zital - Reels Memento mobile app (the "App") treats information. By using the App you accept the practices described here. If something is unclear, write to us at the address in the Contact section.
In short: the App has no accounts and never asks for your name, email address or any other contact detail. What you write in the App — the titles you save, your reasons, moods and tags, and your language choice — stays on your device and is not uploaded to us.
What You Create in the App
When you save a title you can add a reason of up to 280 characters, one mood and up to five tags. These notes, the list of saved titles and your display language live in a local database inside the App's private storage on your device. We do not receive a copy and cannot read them. Removing a title from your Library deletes its note, and deleting the App deletes everything. The poster puzzle keeps no record of your games.
Information Sent When You Use the App
The App needs an internet connection to show movie and TV information. When you browse, search or open a title, it sends requests to the services listed below. Like any internet request, these can carry your IP address, device and operating system details, your chosen language and the words you search for. We do not run a user database and we do not tie these requests to a person.
Third-Party Services
The App relies on outside services that have their own privacy practices. Some of the services below may be part of the current version or may be added in a later one. Please read their policies:
- The Movie Database (TMDB) — provides the movie and TV information, posters and images shown in the App. TMDB privacy policy
- YouTube (Google) — trailers play through the official YouTube embedded player, and YouTube may collect information while a trailer plays. Google privacy policy · YouTube Terms of Service
- Google AdMob — AdMob privacy information
- Google Analytics for Firebase — Google Analytics for Firebase privacy information
- Firebase Crashlytics — Firebase privacy information
Log Data
If the App fails, diagnostic details such as your device model, operating system version, what the App was doing at the time and your IP address may be collected by tools like Firebase Crashlytics. This diagnostic data never includes the reasons, moods or tags you write.
Cookies
The App sets no cookies of its own. Services it relies on, such as the embedded YouTube player, may use cookies or similar technologies, which you can limit in your device settings.
Service Providers
We may use companies or individuals to host this website, deliver the App or help us understand how it is used. They may reach information only as far as needed for those tasks and may not use it for anything else.
Security
What you write stays inside the iOS app sandbox on your device and is available only to the App. Requests to outside services travel over encrypted connections. No method of storing or sending data is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Links to Other Sites
The App and this website may link to sites we do not run, such as TMDB, YouTube or the App Store. Please read the privacy policy of every site you visit.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has given personal information to a service the App uses, contact us and we will help you take it up with that service.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes appear on this page with a new effective date and apply from the moment they are posted.
